Would You Rather – Christmas Edition.

I was tagged by Alice of According To Alice to take part in the Would You Rather Christmas Edition.

Eat brussel sprouts or cauliflower cheese?

Hands down cauliflower cheese every-time. Brussels sprouts are the work of the devil!

Have twinkling lights or still lights?

The lights we have on our tree can be twinkling or still. Normally ours are set to still but I do like both.

Eat gingerbread or Ferrero Rocher?

Oh has to be Ferrero Rocher. They are so delicious as a little indulgent.

Open your Christmas presents with only immediate family or with all of your family members?

Open with immediate family. Alex, David and I will open our presents on Christmas morning then my parents come up later and we will then open their presents.

Cook Christmas dinner for the whole family or don’t eat Christmas dinner at all?

I’d rather not eat dinner than have to cook for everyone. Although I can cook, I feel that making dinner for everyone will be too stressful.

Have a real Christmas tree or a fake Christmas tree?

Although real Christmas trees are lovely. I’d prefer to have a fake. They don’t shed constantly, there not too big and don’t take up too much floor space. Which is scare in our small 2 bed flat.

Use blue, yellow, white or multi-coloured lights?

I prefer white lights. Although I have seen a few really nice trees with multicoloured lights, which are prettier than I thought.

Eat mince pies or Christmas cake?

Mince pies! I didn’t use to like them but I really love them now. Especially with whipped cream and a nice cup of tea.

Wake up at 6am or 10am?

The adult in me says 10am but the kid on me says 6am. I’ve always been an early riser at Christmas. There was one morning I woke up at 3, my parents weren’t too happy as you can imagine. With Alex being that little bit older I’m hoping that he will be as excited at by Christmas as I am.

Drink champagne or hot chocolate?

I’m not a big drinker but I’d choose champagne over hot chocolate. Especially with some cassis, it is delicious.

Eat Heroes or Roses?

Now this is a difficult one. I love both but if I only had one choice, it would have to be roses. The purple and caramel logs are my all time favourite. Oh and the toffee!

Get a puppy for Christmas or a kitten for Christmas?

A puppy. Although we already have a dog I would love another one to keep Alba our lab collie cross company. Maybe another cross breed. I would make sure that the dog be a rescue rather than bought as so many dogs are abandoned and need loving homes.

Watch Elf or Home Alone?

Although I do like Elf, I’d choose Home Alone every time. It is guaranteed to get me in to the spirit of Christmas. The slapstick comedy always makes me laugh.

Only be able to listen to Christmas songs all year round or never hear a Christmas song again?

I’d rather not hear any Christmas songs if it meant that I could listen to whatever I wanted. I listen to a lot of music and if I had to only listen to Christmas songs it would ruin it for me. Music is my escape and I don’t want that taken away.

Wake up bright and early and get all of the best boxing day sale goodies or stay warm and cosy in bed wearing your new Christmas pyjamas?

Stay warm and cosy. I detest sales shopping. The shops are too crowded, people are rude and you end up thinking you’ve got a bargain when really you haven’t. Being cosy indoors with nice warm pjs on, leftovers and Christmas tv is all I want do on Boxing Day.
