Party season is in full swing and today’s prompt for 12 Days Of Blogmas is Festive Outfits I’m not the party animal I used to be. I’ve not really had an excuse for a festive outfit the last few years. This year however I had a Christmassy night out last night with my mum and aunt to see a drag show at our local town hall. I had my outfit picked out on Thursday and was visualising how I would show you my outfit. That was until yesterday morning when I slipped on black ice feel flat on my butt which was incredibly sore. I still went on my night out but I was too sore to pose for outfit photos.
Instead I am going to share a selection of some outfits I’d been looking at but didn’t buy for said might out
Ideas For Festive Outfits #1
Little Mistress Curve – Embellished Jumpsuit – £94 from Littlewoods.
A little on the pricey side but this jumpsuit looks incredible in the photos.
Ideas For Festive Outfits #2
Lost Ink Curve – Velvet Floral jumpsuit – £60 from Littlewoods
I love this jumpsuit and I may have ordered it, even though I’m not sure if I’ll keep it. It’s so beautiful, velvet seem to be popular.
Ideas For Festive Outfits #3
V by Very Curve – Plisse Maxi Dress – £50 Very
This dress looks stunning, a little on the sheer side but would be perfect for any Christmas or new year parties.
My Hair & Makeup
Last night was the first time I had worn makeup in a long time. I went for a soft neutral eye using my urban decay naked palette with Benefits Roller lash mascara which I really liked. On my lips I used Avons Mark Lip Lacquer in Passion-it which is a gorgeous burgundy colour that matched my dress perfectly.
I need a bit more practice with dark lip colours as it’s a bit patchy but I really love this colour. My foundation was Clinique – Even Better Makeup SPF15 in the shade ivory. I went into boots and got shade matched. I’m really happy with the shade and coverage. It wore well and didn’t feel oily or cakey. As for concealer I used Clinique Air Brush concealer in the shade neutral fair. It has a light reflecting formula which did wonders for my dark circles. I set my face with Seventeen Miracle Matte Loose Powder. I could have probably used blusher and bronzer but I ran out of time.
As for my hair. I had washed it the night before and braided it into pigtails which gave me this really lovely wave why stayed in my hair all night.
What do you plan on wearing this party season.
