It’s the last day of 12 Days Of Blogmas and today we are talking about Christmas memories.
My earliest Christmas memory was when I was about 5. I woke up at one point during the night and thought it was morning, I got up to go into the living room but as soon as I opened my bedroom door, I heard a rattling of a cup on a plate which made me run right back to bed as I thought Santa was still in our home eating his treats with Rudolph.
Another memory from when I was about 11 I woke up really early, around 3 in the morning and tried to get my mum she told me to go back to bed, I couldn’t get back to sleep and put my tv on. I watched the weirdest film about a giant rabbit which I found out years later is called Harvey. For a long time I thought I’d dreamt it.
I’m hoping that in future Christmas memories I can write about are going to be of Alex and our family together and seeing him begin to understand about Santa and his excitement for his presents christmas morning.
Thank you to Britt for creating these amazing prompts and for everyone who has participated in this challenge and those who have taken the time to read, like and comment in my posts. I have really enjoyed taking part in 12 Days Of Blogmas and will hopefully continue to take part in other monthly challenges.
Have a wonderful Christmas however to celebrate it.
